Commercial sitework is the main thing we do. Black Diamond Excavating and Contracting builds the ground that commercial projects stand on: we clear it, grade it, run the utilities under it, and hand it over pad-ready. We've been doing this work since 1996, and the proof is standing all over the region: national-brand stores and restaurants, built on sites we prepared — including sites where we first tore down what was standing there before.

Demolition & site clearing — existing buildings removed and sites cleared for new construction
Mass excavation & grading — earthwork cut, filled, and compacted to plan
Underground utilities — sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water, installed and tested
Building pads — prepared, proof-rolled, and ready for foundations
Road & parking lot work — subgrade and stone base, ready for pavement
Utility trenching — trenching for electrical and plumbing contractors
